Student work that continues to the state level will have the opportunity to receive recognition from Sargent Art.

Sargent Art has generously offered to award four prizes to selected students. One student from each level – elementary, middle and high, and their art teacher will receive art supplies from Sargent Art. Then one student from the entire state level show will be awarded with an all-expense paid trip to New York City. One parent and the student’s art teacher will be invited to join, all-expenses paid. If you have never participated in YAM before, I encourage you to do so this year, especially if your regional deadline has not passed.

Through this sponsorship of YAM, Sargent Art is celebrating the creative effort of our students and honoring the hard work and dedication of Michigan art educators. Let’s continue the celebration by sharing our students’ art with each and the community.
