Each year, up to 30 pieces of artwork are selected from schools across the state for a special show at the Michigan Department of Education building in Lansing.  These works are from students in every grade from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade.  The show is updated each year in April and remains up for an entire year.  This partnership between the MAEA and Department of Education is a wonderful opportunity for advocacy of our art programs.  The work is enjoyed by those who work in the Department of Ed building as well as important guests like lawmakers and other government partners. The artists who are represented in this show are invited to have a tour of the show by appointment.
